Notre nouveau logo / Our new logo

Nous sommes fiers de vous présenter notre nouveau logo en ce jour de l'ascension 2017.

La base de ce logo, le personnage qui sème la culture, est l'emblème du foyer pratiquement depuis plus les origines. Ce personnage qui répand des lettres latines, khmères, grecques, mais aussi des chiffres et des symboles mathématiques est une belle allégorie de la mission de notre foyer, l'éducation. Nous l'avons simplement enrichi de trois éléments nouveaux. D'abord le nom du foyer en Khmer et en Anglais, représentant la nécessité de bien connaitre notre belle culture tout nous ouvrant sur le monde. Ensuite, un drapeau du Cambodge inséré dans la forme géographique du pays, faisant allusion à l'identité Cambodgienne. Finalement, le livre ouvert est un beau symbole de l'importance de la connaissance et du savoir.

Nous profitons de cette occasion pour remercier chaleureusement nos généreux donateurs sans qui ce beau projet éducatif ne pourrait tout simplement pas exister. Nous exprimons notre gratitude au père Bruno Cosme, MEP, fondateur de foyer Saint Jean Baptiste en l'an 2000, il y a donc déjà 17 ans. Merci Père Bruno d'avoir permis à tant de jeune d'obtenir le Bac avec mention pendant toutes ces années.

Merci à la belle Église du Cambodge et à son pasteur, le père Olivier Schmitthaeusler, pour son soutien sans faille.

Finalement, merci à tous les jeunes qui sont passés par le foyer au fil des années, nous leur avons fourni un cadre, mais ce sont eux, grâce leur travail scolaire quotidien, qui permettent au Foyer Saint Jean Baptiste de s'enorgueillir de 100% de réussite au Bac depuis 17 ans…

Et un grand merci à Polo, l'un des responsables du foyer, qui a réalisé ce beau logo.

We are proud to present our new logo on the feast of Ascension 2017.

The base this logo, the character who sows knowledge, has been the emblem of the center nearly since its opening. This character who spreads Latin, Khmer, and Greek letters, but also numbers and mathematical symbols is a beautiful allegory of the mission of our home which is education. We have merely enriched it with three new elements. First the name of the center in Khmer and English, representing the need to know our beautiful culture while opening ourselves to the world. Then, a flag of Cambodia inserted in the geographical form of the country, alluding to the Cambodian identity. Finally, the open book is a beautiful symbol of the importance of studies and knowledge.

We take this opportunity to warmly thank our generous donors without whom this beautiful educational project simply could not exist.

We express our gratitude to Father Bruno Cosme, MEP, founder of the Saint Jean Baptist Center in 2000, 17 years ago already. Thank you, Father Bruno, for allowing so many young people to pass the High School Diploma successfully during all these years.

Thank you to the beautiful Church of Cambodia and its pastor, Father Olivier Schmitthaeusler, for his unfailing support.

Finally, we thank all the young people who have stayed at the center over the years, we have provided them with a framework, but it has been their hard work that allows Saint John Baptist Center to display an impressive result of 100% success for the Grate 12 National Exam for 17 years, and still counting...
