Donating blood for the poor / Donner son sang pour les plus pauvres

Through the Comity of Charity of the parish, we’re in touch with a family of beggars who live under a bridge. Today, the father of the family is in hospital waiting to be operated. He needs blood. Two of our youths, Narong and E both over 17, and Frederic who’s in charge, decided to donate their blood for this man. It is a way to learn generosity and to become good citizens in today’s Cambodian Society. We are thinking about different ways to help this family start a better life.

Par l’intermédiaire duComité de Charité de la Paroisse, nous sommes en lien avec une famille de mendiants qui vivent sous un pont. Le père et malade et avait besoin d’une transfusion de sang lors d’une opération. Narong et E, deux de nos étudiants, ainsi que Frédéric l'un des responsables ont décidés d’être volontaires pour ce don. Pour nos jeunes, c’est une manière forte et belle d’apprendre la générosité et ainsi devenir des citoyens positifs dans la société Cambodgienne. Par ailleurs, nous réfléchissons comment aider cette famille à redémarrer.
